I really like the apple <a href="http://krovelhata.ru/" rel="nofollow"> </a>. This is my choice.
Dan,
Long time no tense mixture of ad-homonym attacks and grudging respect. I know we come from different sides of the same coin (pure fundamentals vs. pure trading) but I'm interested in your take on the iPad. I'd heard some mixed reviews. While the constant qualifies was "It's about the coolest damn thing ever for certain apps but has it drawbacks (the already-tired -complaining that it's for consumption/ not production, over-sized iPhone etc) Im' interested in the viewpoint of a knowledgeable acolyte.
Boiling it down: is the iPod a an iJack of all trades and master of nothing or, in the opinion of the knowing a groundbreaking product waiting for a flesh-out functionality?
Also, what say you on the iPhone
Verizon deal? I ripped AT&T the day of the announcement, especially when they announced they were planning to spend "$1 BILLION" on building out their infrastructure. Can I say ass-clowns on your site? If not, that's a shame.
Hope all is well and still wondering if I defended my 2008 Dean Wormer!

"I also got re-long Apple (AAPL), which seems to very much want to hold $100. The only person who made a gain on my Apple in-and-out was my broker. Live in the now, people. If I have to waste some taxes and commission as the price for not watching Apple go to $120 without me, it’s a small price to pay. Either way, $100 is a natural stop."
This old-timer doesn’t fight tapes or women scorned. A close below $105 in either name and I’m gone, daddy, gone. A sub $105 close is a level to lighten the load for both Apple and Goldman. If I own either on a close with a 9-handle, I would consider it a personal favor for you to beat me senseless."

"Breaking Up is Hard to Do"
I dumped all my Apple (AAPL) just over $140. I still love the company, loathe my iPhone and wish the best for longs. But that’s what stops are there for, my Minyan friends."

I'm not sure, verbatim, what I said on Fast Money months before the New York Times and WSJ picked up the story that Mr. Jobs (and unquestioned member of the business Pantheon) was visibly ailing. I simply stated that it wasn't in the stock and I wanted to buy Apple lower.
Did I leave some on the table? Oh hell yes. But that's a question of portfolio management style, not mental horsepower my being at drunk or stupid.
I've been in and out of Apple Dan. I've treated you with my more respect that you've afforded me because I thought, falsely?, that one can learn more from their opposition than their friends. Then again, sometimes you don't.
You seem to have traded Apple better than I have. Hates off. You may or may not have an entire portfolio of picks that can beat my returns over the last 15 years. But I doubt it.
I'm a trader. I mad 40%+ on a position because I had the patience to wait for a full-back. May not be your cup of tea but it sure as hell is mine.
I actually started out just to ask you thoughts oh the iPad. Maybe I'll find them elsewhere as I do think you're a sharp guy, your obvious contempt for me notwithstanding.
I've never wished you all but the best despite your endless ad homonym attacks. I trade stocks. If you've followed anything I'm spoken of other than Apple (which I made 40% on in a couple months) you should know that. If you don't, I don't care: I can't pay for your my groceries with your respect.
I thought there could be synergy between your know The Streets take and that of the acolytes. I may have been wrong. I'll check in from time to time to time to see how it's going or if there are any logical rebuttals.
All the best,
Macke
It will never end. Whats next for this technoilogy. What ever happened to use it until it breaks or beyond repair. How many junkies will dump there 3g to get the next iphone and so on and so on. I give up !! I am just going to take card of my iphone (the first one) until it craps out then iw ill buy a persons useless 3gs that they tossed and spend half the price. Until i see a car run on water then i will be impressed with technology.

It was very interesting to read of the connections with the Flying Tigers.
